Nurturing the Caregiver Online Workshop Series

A four-part journey through the emotional landscape of caregiving.

3-weekly sessions per workshop.

Workshop 1: Managing Anxiety & Fear in Caregiving

Caregiving begins in the deep end — with fear, uncertainty, and the kind of anxiety that sits under your skin.
In this workshop, we’ll slow everything down and look at what’s really happening beneath the surface. Together, we’ll talk through where these emotions come from, how they show up in your day-to-day, and how to find tiny pockets of calm when everything around you feels unpredictable.
This session sets the foundation for understanding your emotional responses instead of fighting them.

Workshop 2: Finding Yourself Again Inside the Caregiver Role

Once caregiving settles into your life, identity becomes blurry.
This workshop is all about the shift — accepting the role, navigating guilt, learning balance, and recognizing where you disappear without even noticing.
We’ll talk honestly about what caregiving takes from you, what it teaches you, and how to reclaim the parts of yourself that slipped into the background.
This is where strength starts taking shape, even when you don’t feel strong.

Workshop 3: Endurance, Fatigue, and the Long Road of Caregiving

This phase is the grind — the long stretch where your compassion gets thin, support becomes essential, and progress and setbacks weave together.
In this workshop, we explore what long-term caregiving feels like emotionally and physically. We’ll talk about exhaustion, loneliness, compassion fatigue, and the weight of doing so much alone.
This is a space to breathe out the heaviness you’ve been holding, and to recognize how much you’ve carried without acknowledgment.

Workshop 4: Rediscovering Yourself Beyond Caregiving

When the intensity eases, caregivers often wonder who they are now.
This workshop focuses on identity, joy, hope, and the quiet process of rebuilding a new version of yourself.
We’ll explore where you’re reconnecting, what you want to bring back into your life, and how to gently welcome moments of joy without guilt.
This final session helps you step toward renewal with clarity, steadiness, and compassion for the road you’ve walked

Study:  Nurturing the Caregiver

Join a small, intimate Free Weekly Caregiver Book Study Coffee Chat. (This is not the workshop)

This is a relaxed, come-as-you-are space where we walk through a chapter of Nurturing the Caregiver Book together.  It’s light, conversational, and completely free.  You don’t need to prepare anything, and you don’t need to share more than you’re comfortable with.

Think of it as a weekly moment to breathe, listen, and connect with others who understand the emotional side of caregiving.  It’s a gentle first step into support — and a good way to decide if you want to go deeper.

This isn’t a lecture. It’s a safe, supportive space to process what caregiving has taken, what it’s taught, and what you still carry. We read together, we talk honestly, and we take our time.

Come as you are. There’s no pressure here, just care.
